George Lucas Should Direct Indiana Jones V

(This is my entry for the Bizarro Blog-A-Thon)

I enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull when I watched it in the theater last month. But there were some disappointments, mainly the direction of Steven Spielberg. I didn’t like the decisiosn that he made, particularly with the actors and the overall look and feel of the film. George Lucas, on the other hand, salvaged the film with his literary wit and love for furry animals.

If they choose to continute with the Indiana Jones franchise, I think George Lucas should take the reins fromĀ  Steven Spielberg, writing and directing the film himself.

  1. Uh-huh. Yep. Awesome.

  2. I love the Lookout, and Brick is one of my favorite recent films…both are horribly underrated and underseen…Levitt is a promising young actor for sure…

  3. George Lucas is the one that insisted aliens. George Lucas wanted to use 1950’s B movies instead of the 1930’s action adventure serials. Those two ideas alone ruin this otherwise fine movie.

  4. Oh yeah–Let George direct it and ruin another film! Look what he managed to do to the three Star Wars prequels by directing them.
